… Drive a moped instead. I can brag about having mileage in the range of 110 miles per gallon in the city. There is no gas-powered car on the planet that can do that kind of mileage. My BMW, on the other hand, if it is perfectly tuned up, and probably with hypermiling, might get 25 to 30 mpg.

I recommend it for city driving. I take it to work in the next town over, 40 minutes away by moped (it takes longer for my car in rush hour). I get a top speed of 60 km/h with some minor modifications done at the shop. With modifications to the governor, I can get 70 mph as my top speed. It is legal on any street or highway except expressways.
