In case you are considering getting an “El-Cheapo” Samsung, here is a brief review: Great mp3 sound, compact, simple, and does too much for my liking (I’ll say that about all cell phones).

On the down side, there is this problem with the plug that goes into the side of the phone. The same plug is used for the battery charger. So, I can’t use both the charger and headphones at the same time. Another problem is that connection is a proprietary connection. After having become used to seeing micro-USB on my old phone, I was taken aback by this weird-ass connector that will not likely be able to connect with anything ever made in the history of the universe or thereafter into the future. Thus everything that connects with it — including the supplied USB cable — is unique to that device.
